Signs Your BFT Keypad & Intercom Repair Is Failing

• Keypad buttons need to be pressed hard or twice. The membrane under the keys wears out from UV exposure and repeated use. Plano sun is rough on these. The conductive trace on the membrane eventually breaks, and no amount of cleaning fixes it. The fix is a new membrane or full keypad swap.

• Code works sometimes, usually after rain or temperature swings. Classic sign of a cracked solder joint on the keypad’s board or a corroded connector in the wiring.
